वृत्ति सारूप्यमितरत्र ॥४॥
vṛtti sārūpyam-itaratra ||4|| [RS] 1.4 Lacking that, misconceptions (vritti) skew our perceptions. [JW] 1.4 At other times it [the Self] takes the same form as the fluctuations [of mind stuff]. [SS] 1.4 At other times [the Self appears to] assume the forms of the mental modifications.
