दुःखदौर्मनस्याङ्गमेजयत्वश्वासप्रश्वासाः विक्षेप सहभुवः ॥३१॥
duḥkha-daurmanasya-aṅgamejayatva-śvāsapraśvāsāḥ vikṣepa sahabhuvaḥ ||31||


[RS] 1.31 Suffering, depression, nervousness, and agitated breathing are signs of this lack of clarity.

[JW] 1.31 Pain and despondency and unsteadiness of the body and inspiration and expiration are the accompaniments of the distractions.

[SS] 1.31 Accompaniments to the mental distractions include distress, despair, trembling of the body, and disturbed breathing. [p51]

[TD] 1.31 All these interruptions produce one or more of the following symptoms: mental discomfort, negative thinking, the inability to be at ease in different body postures, and difficulty in controlling one's breath. [p158]

[EB] 1.31 Suffering, dejection, trembling, inhalation, and exhalation accompany the distractions. [p119]
